Who we've helped in 2009

Here's a list of the worthwhile causes Cash for Kids has helped recently.

At the end of 2009 we had received over £250,000 of applications and we have allocated over £140,000 to local causes - helping over 15,000 local kids!

Cumberland Infirmary A+E Department's Kids Zone, Action for Blind People, Derwent Vale Out of School Care, Eden House Children's Hospice, First Friends Nursery, Gosforth Nursery and Out of School Club, Huntley Avenue Short Break Home, Maryport Boys and Girls Club, Mirehouse Community Centre, Walton Parish Playground Refurbishment, West Cumbria Domestic Violence Service Freedom Project and West Cumbria Group for Riding for the Disabled Association, 2nd Maryport Scouts, Barnardo’s, Carlisle and District Able to Play, West Cumbria Young Carers, Workington Sea Cadets, Carlisle Youth Zone

Sports Clubs:

Cockermouth Swimming Club, Ellenborough Athletic Club, Maryport Monsters Football Club, Northbank Under 9's Football Club, St Bedes Junior Football Club.

Thank you for your continued support in helping local children, we could not have helped these children without you.

Each year we recieve more applications than we can help, but we will keep helping as many children as we can.
