| Bootle & Seascale Neighbourhood Forum Meeting 7pm (Community) Location: Silecroft village hall On Thursday there is the Bootle & Seascale Neighbourhood Forum Meeting at Silecroft village hall starting at 7pm. Neighbourhood forums are a great way for you to have your say about what’s great and what needs improving in your area, meet your councillor, or simply hear about what’s happening locally. | Magic of Lakeland Slide Show 8:15pm to 9:15pm (Conventions/Seminars) Location: Keswick On Thursday there is an Illustrated Slide Show of the ‘Magic of Lakeland’ presented by a National Park volunteer, Tony Warren at the Keswick Youth Hostel on Station Road in Keswick. The slideshow will be open from 8:15pm to 9:15pm and entry is via a suggested £2 donation for adults and £1 for children with proceeds donated to local charity, The Calvert Centre. | ||
| Fairtrade Fun Day 2pm to 5pm (Family) Location: St Joseph's School, Workington On Thursday there is a Fun Day at St Joseph's School in Workington open from 2pm to 5pm for people to learn more about Fairtrade, and how it benefits the people who supply our produce. Activities include magician, stalls, ready steady cook fairtrade style, music and dance. Everyone welcome. | ||
