| A Cream Cracker Under The Settee 7:30pm (Arts and Entertainment) Location: West Walls Theatre Carlisle Perhaps one of Alan Bennett's most well known monologues, this piece from the award winning 'Talking Heads' is the second in our repertoire bar productions. Tickets are limited to 35 per performance due to the size of the bar. Tickets can be purchased through the Tourist Infromation in the Town Hall, priced at £3 each with no consession. | Career Open Day 11:30am to 2pm (Community) Location: Cleator Moor If you are aged 16 to 25 and currently not in education, employment or training, on Thursday there is an Open Day to help you and your mates to get into work, college or training. The Open Day will be held at the Cleator Moor Youth and Community Centre from 11:30am to 2pm with a meet and greet, free buffet, fun activities, pub style quiz and more. | ||
| A Volunteers View of Lakeland Slide Show 8:15pm to 9:15pm (Conventions/Seminars) Location: Keswick On Thursday there is an Illustrated Slide Show of ‘A Volunteers View of Lakeland’ presented by a National Park volunteer, Chris Abbot at the Keswick Youth Hostel on Station Road in Keswick. The slideshow will be open from 8:15pm to 9:15pm and entry is via a suggested £2 donation for adults and £1 for children with proceeds donated to local charity, The Calvert Centre. | ||
