| Allonby’s 31st Annual Art Exhibition Various (Charity) Ongoing Event, Ends 26/07/2010 Location: Allonby This weekend it’s Allonby’s 31st Annual Art Exhibition held in the village hall. The exhibition will feature work from over 60 local artists and opening times are 4pm to 8pm on Friday, 10am to 8pm on both Saturday and Sunday and from 10am to 4pm on the Monday. Entry is 50p and children under 12 accompanied by an adult get in free with proceeds in aid of the village hall. | ||
| Charity Fundraising Weekend (Charity) Ongoing Event, Ends Today Location: Shipwrights Arms, Whitehaven This weekend there is a Charity Fundraising Weekend in the Shipwrights Arms, Whitehaven with all proceeds will be donated to the Palliative Care Unit, West Cumberland Hospital. On Friday there is a Quiz Night starting at 8pm and entry is £5 per team with lots of prizes up for grabs. On Saturday there will be live entertainment with Stella the Fella and a Prize Raffle Draw. Entry is free but donations are welcome. | ||
| Exhibition 11am to 4pm (Charity) Ongoing Event, Ends Today Location: The Fobbles Needlecraft Workshop, Holmrook This Friday and Saturday, there is an exhibition of needlework, patchwork and beadwork at The Fobbles Needlecraft Workshop, Holmrook. The exhibition is open from 11am to 4pm each day and admission is £2.50 with proceeds to Hospice at Home West Cumbria. | ||

| Charity Quiz Night 7:30pm (Charity) Location: Widscale Club, Seascale On Saturday the Windscale Club are holding a Quiz Night in aid of Seascale Community Fitness Centre. Doors open at 7:30pm for 8pm start and the night also includes a raffle and spot prizes. Teams of up to four can enter at £1 per person and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Quiz. | Community Funday 11am to 4pm (Charity) Location: Woodhouse, Whitehaven On Saturday there is a Community Funday at St Peters Parish Hall on Lakeland Avenue, Woodhouse, Whitehaven. The Funday is open from 11am until 4pm with a jumble sale, hook a duck, lucky dip, bouncy castle, cake sale, refreshments, treasure map and face painting, pop steps dancing group and a kids disco. | Family Disco 7:30pm (Family) Location: Workington Royal British Legion On Saturday there is a Family Disco at the Workington Royal British Legion starting at 7:30pm. The night of dancing includes games and entry is only £1. | ||
