 Cockermouth at Play Exhibition  10am to 4pm    (Arts and Entertainment)

Location: Cockermouth
From Monday 26th July to Sunday 22nd August there is the a local history exhibition ‘Cockermouth At Play’ at the Kirkgate Centre in Cockermouth, taking a nostalgic look back over 150 years or so at leisure activities in the town will be staged by the Cockermouth Museum Group. This will include sporting activities of all kinds, clubs and societies including music and drama, carnivals and jubilee celebrations and much more. The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 4pm, admission is free and all are welcome.
 Flower Show  7pm    (Charity)
Location: Lions Club, Great Clifton
On Friday, there is a Charity Flower Show at the Lions Club, Great Clifton. Doors open at 7pm, flower entries will be judged and then auctioned followed by more entertainment and karaoke. All money raised to go to Help the Heroes.
 Wildflowers in Watermillock Churchyard  10am to 4:30pm    (Charity)

Location: Watermillock
This weekend, All Saint’s Church at Watermillock are holding an Open Garden Weekend with Wildflowers in Watermillock Churchyard. All are welcome to homemade refreshments in the church from 10am to 4:30pm with Sunday Morning Holy Communion from 11am to 12noon. The weekend will feature flower displays, competitions, stalls and more. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
 Car Treasure Hunt  6:30pm    (Community)
Location: Starting from the Locharbriggs Community Centre
On Friday there is a Car Treasure Hunt starting from the Locharbriggs Community Centre at 6:30pm. Entry is £5 per car with the prize giving, refreshments and raffle at the Lochar Inn following the hunt. Proceeds from the event will go to centre funds.
 Irthing Explorers Walk  From 9:30am    (Outdoor Fun)
Location: From Brampton
On Friday there is the Irthing Explorers Walk, meeting at the Brampton Community Centre from 9:30am to return back at 2pm. The walk is about 6 miles and you will need to bring a packed lunch and money for car share.
