The BRIT Awards 2012 - Winners' List
Story Highlight
Adele triumphs once again
A year on from her career-defining performance of ‘Someone Like You’, Adele triumphed once again at The BRIT Awards 2012 taking home two of the top honours.
The 23-year-old North Londoner scooped the British Female Solo Artist award and the prestigious Mastercard British Album of the Year.
However Adele’s triumph wasn’t without controversy. When the songstress’ acceptance speech was cut short to make way for Blur’s performance she stuck the middle finger up at organisers.
Other big winners on the night included Ed Sheeran who scored a double, Coldplay, One Direction, Lana Del Rey and Foo Fighters.
